ArcticNet - Research Compendium

Research Compendiums

2011-2012 Annual Research Compendium

ArcticNet’s research program continues to support a multidisciplinary approach to address the challenges facing the coastal Canadian Arctic, with the objective of filling identified knowledge gaps to help the formulation and implementation of policies and adaptation strategies.

The ArcticNet Annual Research Compendiums provide a yearly overview and summary of research activities and results for each of the Network’s diverse projects. In 2011-2012, ArcticNet’s 34 research projects focused on four main themes: marine systems; terrestrial systems; Inuit health, education and adaptation; and northern policy and development.

Using a common template, the report for each project is written by project leader(s) and their teams.
