ArcticNet research in pictures

ARCTICNET is a Network of Centres of Excellence of Canada that brings together scientists and managers in the natural, human health and social sciences with their partners from Inuit organizations, northern communities, federal and provincial agencies and the private sector. The objective of ArcticNet is to study the impacts of climate change and modernization in the coastal Canadian Arctic. Over 150 ArcticNet researchers and 1000 graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, technicians and other specialists from 34 Canadian universities, and 20 federal and provincial agencies and departments collaborate with more than 150 partner organizations in 14 countries.

Arctic Change 2017

ArcticNet and its national and international partners invite the international Arctic research community to the International Arctic Change 2017 Conference in Quebec City from December 11 - 15, 2017.



Experience Stories of the North

ArcticNet and the Nasivvik Research Chair present a documentary film series focusing on the impacts of modernization and climate change on the Northern environment and indigenous health and culture.



AIP - 2017 Call for Nominations

The Call for Nominations for the 2017 Arctic Inspiration Prize is now open. This year, the AIP will award up to $3 million through three new prize categories making the AIP ever more accessible.
