Student Association

The mission of the ArcticNet Student Association (ASA) is to broaden the ArcticNet student experience by promoting student learning, research and networking opportunities between students, academics, governmental partners, and northerners. The four main objectives of the ASA are:

1.   To encourage and initiate collaboration between students, as well as other ArcticNet members;
2.   To foster interaction between ArcticNet students and Northerners to improve cross-cultural understanding;
3.   To give students a value-added education in their specific discipline, and to support multidisciplinary training;
4.   To promote excellence and fortify the aspiration of students in Canadian Arctic research.
