(Biography) I completed a BSc (Geography) at Trent University in 1980, an MSc (Geography) at McGill University in 1984, and a PhD (Scott Polar Research Institute) at the University of Cambridge in 1988. My general area of research is Marine Glaciology (ice in the ocean). In particular I am interested in the drift and deterioration of icebergs.
