Lewis Archer

(Biography) Lewis is a first-year graduate student pursuing an M.A. in Geography at McGill University. Lewis completed his undergraduate studies in 2010 with a B.A. in International Development from the University of East London. His undergraduate research examined the role of community-led initiatives in contributing to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals in Small Island Developing States. Lewis then went on to work in various non-profit organisations where he managed climate and development projects that would use innovative finance and technology to deliver a variety of social and environmental results ? from cutting carbon and protecting forests to providing safe water, education, jobs and improving health.Lewis is interested in climate change adaptation amongst Indigenous populations in Canada and is looking at longitudinal methodologies to assess changing levels of vulnerability and adaptive capacity in Nunavut.
