Université Laval

My research interests cover marine sulfur biogeochemistry, ocean color remote sensing, and the optics, photochemistry and photobiology of aquatic environments. I studied Environmental Sciences (Major in Water Quality and Management) at the University of Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). I did my MSc and PhD theses under the supervision of Dr. Rafel Simó at Institut de Ciències del Mar (Barcelona) on the "Interactive effects of vertical mixing, solar radiation and microbial activity on oceanic dimethylated sulphur cycling". I currently work on the development of a remote sensing algorithm for the prediction of marine dimethylsulfide production and emission in the Arctic.
