ArcticNet Member(Biography) I hold a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, and a M.Sc. from the University of Manitoba. Currently I am a Ph.D. student at the Center for Earth Observation Science (CEOS), University of Manitoba researching sea ice primary production. My polar research has taken me to the Arctic for a total of 17 weeks in the past 2 years. I have also visited the Antarctic as part of my student training. I have been involved with the ArcticNet Student Association since 2011, co-chairing the 2012 IPY Student Career Workshop, participating in polar outreach events, and have been the ASA president since 2012.
